About

If you meet me and think I talk funny, it’s because I’m from north Jersey. I spent most of my adult life up there.  I went to college at the University of Pennsylvania for my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, and Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons for my Masters in Pathology.
After I earned my master's, I worked for several years as a research scientist, where I met my husband Doug while working in the labs at Bristol-Myers Squibb. We have 4 wonderful children.
A few years into our marriage, I enrolled in Seton Hall Law School, and earned my law degree.  Since moving to NC, I've worked both as a scientist and as a lawyer.  And I've also worked in the business development group for Sandoz, the #2 generic drug manufacturer.  Presently, I am once again a full time student, for a Masters of Education.  I hope to teach science, math, or history to high school students, and help people, young and old, become an informed electorate.
